It’s my pleasure to be the first contributor to the 2010 CPA Congress blog. If there’s one thing that’s constant in this world, it’s change. That’s why I think Navigate the New is a great theme for CPA Congress. We have a new Prime Minister, new taxes, new issues to consider in terms of climate change and sustainability, new challenges from emerging markets, lessons from the GFC and much more. CPA Congress can help you learn what’s new, what it means for you and your business, and then work out how to deal with new challenges and stay healthy at the same time.
I’ll be dropping in on a few of the sessions on offer because I’m always keen to learn from others and benefit from their expertise. I’m looking forward to hosting some myself, in my ‘On the Couch’ slot where I talk to business leaders about how they realised their potential and got to where they are. Mingling with other delegates is a great way to make new contacts and spark some ideas for your business.
